What is COSLAA
COSLAA is a 12 step support group for the recovery of family, friends, and significant others whose lives have been affected by their relationship with someone addicted to sex and love. COSLAA, also known as CO-Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous reaches out to the suffering individual , 18 years or older, regardless of sexual orientation, gender, or relationship status. COSLAA meetings have a united purpose of mutual aid to those affected by another’s sex and love addiction, but who are not sex addicts themselves.
COSLAA is a closed fellowship and not an intergroup with any sex addiction recovery group. COSLAA is the corresponding 12 step family group for SLAA, and is cooperative in referring sex addicted calls to that group. COSLAA reserves the right to screen newcomer calls to help match appropriate group assignment.
COSLAA offers a safe and confidential recovery fellowship for members who have been affected by another’s sexually addictive behaviors, such as visits to strip clubs, obsessive use of pornography, internet sex, voyeurism, phone sex, and serial infidelity.
The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop living out a pattern of codependency to someone who is sexually addicted. We diligently protect members’ anonymity and we are self supporting through our own contributions. We are not affiliated with any other organizations, movements, or causes, and we are neither religious nor secular.
We believe that sex and love addiction is a family illness. By looking at our own attitudes and behaviors, we can find a new way of life that will allow us to be happier. We do this by practicing the 12 steps and traditions of COSLAA, defining our own bottom lines in dealing with the disease, and developing a relationship with a power greater than ourselves.

I just want to verify the meeting information in Tampa, FL. Its a long drive for me and I want to make sure they are meeting regularily. Every Tues? Thanks. My husband is in a SLAA group in Sarasota and I was not able to find anything local.
